Snow Mostly Gone

Saturday, April 13th, 2019
Song Sparrow, Rockport, Maine, 13 April 2019.
Song Sparrow.

Rain early, then fog, then mostly cloudy. Highs hit the 50s (F). By day’s end, snow mostly gone. Birds about, but mostly in the fringes.

Song Sparrows have begun singing in their annual nesting places I’ve noticed. That makes me happy.

Bird Report is a (sometimes intermittent) record of the birds I encounter while hiking, see while driving, or spy outside my window. —Brian Willson
