Gray ghost (male Northern Harrier), Beech Hill Preserve, Rockport, Maine, 16 April 2018.

Gray ghost (male Northern Harrier).

I expected sleet or freezing rain first thing but instead awoke to a lull in the incoming weather. So Jack and I took a quick hike before breakfast. (Mine, not his.) Icy trail. Chill, strong wind.

Also a male Northern Harrier.
