Eclipses

Plotting murder, Beech Hill Preserve, Rockport, Maine, 13 March 2015.

Plotting murder.

No robins at Beech Hill today. Weird. Not as windy as yesterday, but nearly as chilly. A snow surface frozen enough to walk on without slipping through. Still I feel like I’m eight feet tall on the trail up there.

Titmice singing at the post office again. Brilliant sun.

I understand there’ll be a lunar eclipse on the equinox. Soon liquidity will eclipse the ice and birdsong will eclipse the silence. First some snow this weekend, though, I hear.
