Blue sky day

Saturday, March 7th, 2015
American Robin, Beech Hill Preserve, Rockport, Maine, 07 March 2015.

American Robin.

A blue sky day. The sky is a certain kind of brilliant blue here on the 44th parallel as the photoperiod lengthens. I took an early hike with Jack up the main Beech Hill trail, and at the summit saw two robins browsing the sod of the roof of Beech Nut.

Also attended a funeral today. A good person, a big part of my life. Without her, I would not have the wonderful daughter I have—or live in Maine.
