Warm before the cold

White-tailed Deer, near Meadow Street, Rockport, Maine, 25 November 2014.

White-tailed Deer.

Another warm day today. Not much sun, and not much wind, and a whole lot of 50s (F).

Beech Nut, near Meadow Street, Rockport, Maine, 25 November 2014.

Beech Nut.

A whole lot of inside work, too, but in my late-afternoon hike with Jack, not a lot of birds. Eerily warm up there. Scenic, as always.

Then, back at the office, four deer browsing in the grass out backā€”one adult and three younger ones.

Supposed to get cold tonight and snow quite a bit tomorrow.
