Busy day started early and ended late—with a nice Beechnut-themed art gallery show in Rockland to benefit Coastal Mountains Land Trust. (Implausibly, I had two photos in the show.) Had only a narrow window during which to grab a hike with Jack.
We made the best of it. Some spattering drizzle was falling, but then it let up, and then it fell again, and then some hazy sun. One of those odd November days, meterologically. And not a lot of birds—in fact, no Yellow-Rumped Warblers for the first time in I don’t know how long. But I spotted the male harrier (or a male harrier) again.
Cool, damp day. Felt a lot like November.
