Young towhee

Eastern Towhee (juvie), Beech Hill Preserve, Rockport, Maine, 18 August 2014.

Eastern Towhee (juvie).

Busy ol’ Monday. Scrambling around with my daughter. We took care of a few separate things and then got together with Jack for errands and a Beech Hill hike. A lot of young birds up there, although we didn’t see or hear many species. But what a lovely day.

Also, I got a nice photo of a young towhee.
