Rain, then wind

Windblown haze, Beech Hill Preserve, Rockport, Maine, 01 November 2013.

Windblown haze.

Rained all night, rained most of today, and then it cleared up suddenly, and a strong wind blew. A wind so strong, in fact, that I couldn’t hear the birds of Beech Hill. I saw few, too—only a loose flock of robins fluttering overhead, southbound.

The landscape was pretty lovely up there, though.
