Late hike

Tuesday, January 15th, 2013
Sunset, from Beech Hill, Rockport, Maine, 15 January 2013.

Sunset.

A Busy, busy day. Cooler than yesteday—which would make it close to normal—and so busy that I didn’t get the two dogs to Beech Hill until 4 p.m. Had a quick hike up and down. Heard a couple birds. Saw a weird vapor trail and a cool sunset. And a lot of mud.

Vapor trails.

This evening the waxing crescent moon looked cool setting behind the leafless trees.
