Evening sky

Saturday, January 28th, 2012
Evening sky, from Beech Hill, Rockport, Maine, 28 January 2012.

Evening sky

A nondescript sort of day. Sunny for most of it. Worked for most of it. Got out late to Beech Hill. The most noteworthy part of my hike with Jack were our tracks from yesterday, visible in the refrozen slush of the trail. Apparently, yesterday, we were the only ones to hike the hill.

Into the sky

Thursday, January 26th, 2012
Bay sky, Beech Hill, Rockport, Maine, 26 January 2012.

Bay sky.

A busy ol’ day, but I don’t mind, so long as a day proves fruitful. And this one did—beginning with bright sun and mild (for winter) temperatures, and ending with some cloudiness moving over. At the end of it, as Jack and I climbed Beech Hill, I took a couple pictures of ’em.

Tonight, there’s some kind of precipitation going on. I can’t tell if it’s sleet or ice or snow—but I think the former. For now. Snow is due tomorrow. Then rain.
