Monhegan Island.
Today was a warm one. Pretty much all the recent snow melted. Birds were singing first thing. Some rain, some sun—and a nice Beech Hill hike for dog and me, despite some pretty good wind. I bet it got to 50 degrees (F).
Birch.
Come nightfall, however, the temperature fell in a hurry. Clear sky, newish moon. Wind still. A cold day in store tomorrow, and snow thereafter.
