Hill and Harbor

Thursday, January 17th, 2019

Hiked a chill hill this morning—much nippier than yesterday. Nearly cloudless and bright. The few apparent bird species included a flyby raven and a busy little Downy Woodpecker

Later in the day Jack and I headed for the harbor, just for fun. There I saw a bunch of Buffleheads and a Cooper’s Hawk—maybe the same hawk I saw there a few days ago. Will check again.

Hill and harbor. Starting to be a trend.

Bird Report is a (sometimes intermittent) record of the birds I encounter while hiking, see while driving, or spy outside my window. —Brian Willson
