Dark and Animated Morning

Yellow-rumped Warbler in the rain, Beech Hill Preserve, Rockport, Maine, 24 October 2018.

Yellow-rumped Warbler in the rain.

Mid-30s (F), light rain, stout wind, a little wet snow. Jack and I hustled up and down the hill real quick like, I can promise you that. Not a lot of photo possibilities on such a dark and animated morning—but the hike was an invigorating one, that’s for sure.
