This morning at the summit of Beech Hill, I was happy to encounter a little flock of Eastern Bluebirds. Later, down at one of the bluebird boxes, I encountered the flock again—this time doing a little real estate shopping. Never mind that it was chilly November, not chilly March, and that the photoperiod is diminishing, not increasing.
Coldest morning of fall so far—and they say we might even get a little snow tomorrow night.
