American Crow.
Got up early. Cold, but not freezing. It rained a bit. I began to tackle my income taxes—last minute, as usual.

Tiny flowers.
After a good long while sitting on my butt at my desk, I figured it was time to move around a little, so I asked Jack if he wanted to go for a ride, and he answered in the affirmative. The rain had abated, but the wind had risen—really windy the past week or so—and it was kind of chilly up Beech Hill. Also loud, the wind. Didn’t count many species today.
But time marches onward. Wounds heal. Trees grow old and die. And May will bring a bunch of birds, as it always does.
