American Goldfinch, nearly Route 1, Rockport, Maine, 12 March 2016.
Chilly and bright this morning. Fragrant air. Little green shoots coming up. Spring(like).
Did a bunch of Saturday morning errands, then ended up at Beech Hill at noon. Dog and I had a good hike up and a good hike down. Chatted with some friends and strangers. Met a couple dogs. Saw nor heard many birds, but enjoyed the heck out of it anyway.
I can’t help saying, though, that Daylight Savings Time has gotta be the silliest invention of humanity.
