First, I got a lot of desk work done. Then, in afternoon, as the usual afternoon line of thunderstorms approached, I went with Jack for a hike.
A surprising number of people on Beech Hill, considering the rumbling thunder in the not-too-distant periphery. Birds were acting. Some singing—like a towhee near the parking lot. Saw a heron fly over.
Considering the thunder, and the clear view of rainclouds approaching, we hurried up and down. Under dramatic skies.
