A lovely, comfortable day today—sunny, calm, just about freezing. Had a bunch of birds coming up through the woods, imagining perhaps a batch of bluebirds at the summit. And sure enough there were some.
There were also several other nice species. (Heard a woodpecker drumming but could not be sure of the ID. Likely a hairy.)
Just a lovely day. After our hike, we did a bunch of errands. Including a visit to Loyal Biscuit—which warms the simmering cockles of Jack’s heart.
