Industrious Little Chickadee

Quite cold this morning, but calm. This made for a lovely hike with Jackā€”just the two of us. Well, and a handful of bird species, among them a little gang of industrious chickadees, drilling and tapping and gleaning breakfast from the bark of little trees..
