Snowed overnight, as forecast. Got bundled up and put my new truck in four-wheel drive for the first time. Ran good.
Someone had been up the hill before us. Two people, two dogs. Different times. (I could tell from the tracks.) We were there alone, though. Alone with the chickadees, robins, and such.
The robins were hanging out in the sumac down the eastern slope.
