Camden Crow

Monday, November 20th, 2017
American Crow, outside Megunticook Market, Camden, Maine, 20 November 2017.

American Crow.

An icy cold wind raked the summit of Beech Hill while Jack and I were up there this morning. Icicles hung from the roof of Beech Nut. A solitary crow flew crazily by, riding the wind.

Afterward, in (much calmer) Camden, I spotted three calm crows perched in a naked hardwood right outside the door of Megunticook Market. One of them posed for a photo.

Bird Report is a (sometimes intermittent) record of the birds I encounter while hiking, see while driving, or spy outside my window. —Brian Willson
