Birch.
Sometime overnight I became aware of the rain. As promised. And rain it did. By morning, the little creek out back had begun to gurgle and rush. Warmish, but wind-whipped and dismal-looking. Took dog out later in the afternoon.
Again we were the only ones at Beech Hill. I don’t mind. Jack doesn’t either. Although the rain had let up by then, we both got pretty wet from the mist and fog.
