A bright, chilly morning. For some reason decided to bring my camera when I took Jack out in the yard first thing, and right away I heard geese. A loose skein of maybe sixty or eighty birds, south-bound.
Later, the day grew partly overcast. Quite a little wind to go with the chill. Didn’t get up Beech Hill until late in the day—too late for birds, apparently. (And/or too windy and chilly.) A nice sky, though. With a waxing crescent moon.
Stars tonight, too.
