Another day. Up at sunrise. Cold again—like, 10 degrees (F)—first thing. However, there were no clouds, and the sun is higher, so it warmed up a little beyond freezing.
Didn’t get out until mid-afternoon. Icy, icy trail at Beech Hill Preserve. The usual birds for this time of year (nothing really noteworthy). Dog and I were slip-sliding all of the place.
But we did meet a few other hardy hikers. And it wasn’t too awful windy. And it truly is starting to seem like spring.
(E.g., sunset came noticeably later in the day.)
