Overcast

Friday, October 12th, 2018
Wild Turkey, Rockport, Maine, 12 October 2018.

Wild Turkey.

We’ve had a lot of overcast days lately. This one had no rain, but there was leftover dampness from yesterday’s. This one was dark enough, though, that I waited until midday to hike with dog. Still a few birds about—yellow-rumps, mostly—but notable was a flock of Wild Turkeys en route up Beech Hill Road.

Note: the sky did clear at day’s end.
