Discombobulated

Milkweed bones, Beech Hill Preserve, Rockport, Maine, 07 December 2015.

Milkweed bones.

Busy Monday at the desk—but eventually I had to peel myself away, because it was so gorgeous out there. Another unseasonably warm, mild, sunny day.

Did hit the hill in afternoon. Only saw one bird species. (Guess.)

This weather has me kind of discombobulated.

Beech Hill List
Beginning at 3:15 p.m., I hiked the open trail.

1. Black-capped Chickadee

Elsewhere

1. American Goldfinch (v)
2. White-breasted Nuthatch (v)
3. American Crow
4. Rock Pigeon

v = Voice only

Bird Report is a (sometimes intermittent) record of the birds I encounter while hiking, see while driving, or spy outside my window. —Brian Willson
