Invigorated

Saturday, November 14th, 2015
Silent crow, secret crow (Camden, Maine, 14 November 2015).

Silent crow, secret crow.

Bright sun, chilly, wild morning winds. The winds died down later in the day—but not before dog and I took a quick late-morning hike. Not a lot of birds up there (too windy for most species, the wind too loud to hear their voices), but invigorating just the same.

Mount Desert, from Beech Hill Preserve, Rockport, Maine, 14 November 2015.

Later, in the back yard, crows visited.

Bird Report is a (sometimes intermittent) record of the birds I encounter while hiking, see while driving, or spy outside my window. —Brian Willson
