Windy Jack, Beech Hill Preserve, Rockport, Maine, 15 February 2015.

Windy Jack.

Well, the blizzard was a dud. Actually, it just missed us—points north and south got plastered. What we did get, though, is wind.

American Robin, South Street, Rockport, Maine, 15 February 2015.

American Robin.

High wind, strong wind, long wind, sharp wind. Loud wind, steady wind, chill wind, icy wind. Wind so strong it liked to tipped me over, and it made Jack tuck his tail.

It was strongest atop Beech Hill, but it was damn strong everywhere.

Not quite so strong tonight, though.

Here are a couple pictures.
