A frigid St. Patrick’s Day. Temperatures rising to just below freezing, if that high, and high, gusty winds. I worked inside for most of it, in part postponing what was sure to be an uncomfortable Beech Hill hike with dog. Birds were hanging around my place despite the wind, although I can’t say the same for the hill. Which—considering how thoroughly I bundled up—didn’t turn out to be all that uncomfortable, by the way.
Then again, I’ve been hearing rumblings about some equinoctial snow.
