A lovely, sunny Sunday. I worked for most of it, and only late in the day—as I drove with dog past Chickawaukie Lake—did I realize I could’ve been skating. But never mind, a hike would do. Only chickadees at Beech Hill, but a load of birds back at my place. Including spring-singing titmice.
For a while tonight I admired bright Venus, the waxing moon, and Jupiter, all hanging up there in the endless night sky.
