The sky was lovely this morning during my hike up the hill with dog. Some blue, some white, some golden sun, some gray clouds—just a heck of a potpourri. Colder than yesterday (and with frigid weather coming), and, looking down, there was fresh snow.
About four or five new, dry, fluffy inches. Covered up much of the ice and trail streams, which was nice. Not many bird species, but enough to get my rather excited.
Only one presented a photo op: a crow.
