Today dawned cold and bright. Got an earlier start this morning, Jack and me. Were the first ones up the hill again. Kind of a breeze, and not too many birds—but I saw robins and bluebirds and another good species. Quite a few Song Sparrows, too.
Back home, a couple of song sparrows had taken cover in the April berry brambles of the back yard. I heard them all over the place, in fact.
