
On the way to the hill this bright, nippy morning, I drove by a good-sized flock of turkeys. One of the males was strutting his stuff, displaying to a gaggle of unimpressed females.
Later, at home, another turkey flock showed up in the back yard. Still later, they drifted into the driveway, not forty feet from busy Route 1. Also the side yard.
Put simply: Wild Turkeys galore.
