Snow-spittin’ day

Friday, January 29th, 2016
Crow and orange, near Mount Battie, Camden, Maine, 29 January 2016.

Crow and orange.

Gray skies today, with temperatures in the low- to mid-thirties (F). Got a lot of desk work done, then took a Friday hike with Jack.

Just us on the hill today, in chilly air that was spittin’ snow. Few birds—very few, really, this winter so far, compared to the past several—but a lovely overcast, snow-spittin’ day.

Earlier, through the wavy glass of old windows, I took a photo of a crow devouring an orange. (I had nothing to do with it: just an observer.)
