A warmish, raw, rainy day. Worked nearly all of it but did get up Beech Hill with Jack.

Soggy hill. Muddy, icy, slippery. The slightest evidence of just one bird: the twee! of a tree sparrow.

Won’t be getting much sleep tonight.
