Quiet, Cloudiness

Monday, November 7th, 2022
American Crow, Beech Hill Preserve, Rockport, Maine, 07 November 2022.
American Crow.

Another warm one—60° (F) to start. A bit of a breeze (unfelt in the woods, but present on the open trail), and not a lot of action, bird-wise.

I got a look at only half of the twelve species on my list today. Most notable might’ve been the little flock of Snow Buntings flying over. Otherwise, a raven, a couple-three Brown Creepers, a bunch of crows.

Tomorrow early will come a total lunar eclipse. Thinking Jack and I might climb the hill early to get a peek at it. We shall see!

Bird Report is a (sometimes intermittent) record of the birds I encounter while hiking, see while driving, or spy outside my window. —Brian Willson
