Snow Day

Wednesday, February 13th, 2019
Bufflehead pair, Rockport Harbor, Maine, 13 February 2019.
Bufflehead pair.

Dog and I were first up the hill this snowy morning. The snow was wet and heavy, maybe six inches of it, and the wind was high, but the temps were pretty high, too, so it wasn’t bad up there. Randomly, I heard the voice of a Bohemian waxwing up there.

For photos, we dropped by the harbor, where some Buffleheads were hanging around.

Snow stopped, sun emerged, temperature dipped, night fell.
