Just us two

Wednesday, November 11th, 2015
Blue Jay, Beech Hill Preserve, Rockport, Maine, 11 November 2015.

Blue Jay.

Chilly and overcast today. Gusty wind. Got a lot of desk work done, raked some leaves, and went for a hike with Jack. We were the only ones there this afternoon braving the barely perceptible drizzle at Beech Hill.

Onward, into the unknown, Beech Hill Preserve, Rockport, Maine, 11 November 2015.

Onward, into the unknown.

Few birds. A dull, spare, November landscape. Felt great to be up there, though—moving, walking, breathing the pure November air.

Bird Report is a (sometimes intermittent) record of the birds I encounter while hiking, see while driving, or spy outside my window. —Brian Willson
