A hawk somewhere

Sunday, December 11th, 2011
Birch, Beech Hill, Rockport, Maine, 11 December 2011.

Birch.

From my bed this morning, I awoke to the cries of crows up the hill out back. Their telltale hollering-at-a-hawk chorus. Not long after, I heard it again, and stepped outside to see three or four crows flapping through the sky from various directions, all converging on a spot just over the rise.

Another hawk somewhere.
