Snowed maybe an inch overnight, much to my surprise. Was nice to see—and nice to walk on, seeing as how it took some of the slippery off the trails for dog and me.
Winter coat weather (sunny, but sub-freezing, with decent winds). Not a lot of bird species—and none at all would pose for me for a change (and I only saw two species all day)—but a lovable day, nonetheless. Lots of smells for Jack to inhale, and plenty of cool-looking landscapes for me to enjoy.
I did finally get a single bird photo: a crow in the yard. Not worthy of display here, so I share a photo of coon tracks instead.
We’ll do it again tomorrow!
