Thought we’d have a little sun this morning, but only barely a little. An overcast and a stout south wind greeted dog and me when we arrived at the main trailhead. Tracks showed that one or two other hikes had arrived and departed before us—likely it was a quick hike for them, as the wind was strong and the trail was a bit slick.
A few birds made their presence known, but only one posed for photos—and that was a crow at the very end of our hike. The sky, though, was lovely. And the company of Jack-my-dog was (as always) the best.
Tomorrow will be warmer with (sigh) some afternoon rain.
