Snow was forecast, so dog and I left for our hike a little early—right about the time the flakes began to fall. Encountered few bird species (saw only one chickadee, heard the rest), but it was fun to be up there along with the mule deer.
(In the neighborhood—and in town for an appointment—I encountered two species of dove.)
A lot more snow forecast for the rest of the week and (especially) the weekend, but every day’s its own day. You never know.
