Not so cold as the past few days. Calm for the second straight day. A lovely morning hike with dog.
No great bird photos on the hill, but later in the day, a good-sized flock of turkeys showed up out back, not twenty feet from my door. Grabbed for my camera, dropped it on the floor, and the zoom lens got stuck, so I had to use my rusty old camera for turkey shots—and my good one is headed to the shop tomorrow.
Still, all in all a good day.
