Unsettled Morning

Saturday, October 20th, 2018
Yellow-rumped Warbler at the watering hole, Beech Hill Preserve, Rockport, Maine, 20 October 2018.

Yellow-rumped Warbler at the watering hole.

A lonesome, cool, overcast, blowy, unsettled Saturday morning. Birds on the fringes, none cooperatively posing. Missed a flicker, missed a few yellow-rumps—including some nice(r) shots of a few drinking in their secret watering hole (as I knew they would be). I did get a soft-focus shot of one, at least.

Nevertheless, I love this day.
