Robins before the storm.

The snow hadn’t really started coming down yet by the time Jack and I got going this morning, so our hike was a relatively easy one. Light snow, wind gusts, the feeling of a storm on the way. Just us up there—and a few birds. At the parking lot, a Pileated Woodpecker visited.
