Kinds of cold

Inadvertent snow angel, Beech Hill Preserve, Rockport, Maine, 12 January 2015.

Inadvertent snow angel.

Didn’t get a lot of sleep last night. Still have a cold. Worked twelve-plus hours—more.

But I got a quick snowy hike in. Slipped on the icy, fluff-covered trail and landed squarely on my back, but it didn’t really hurt much. Still durable, this old body of mine.

Was a lovely winter scene, though, and not really all that cold.

The cold comes back tomorrow.

Beech Hill List
