God, what a lovely day. I managed to work until about 3 p.m., and then I had to take off on my bicycle. Rode about twenty miles, which took me about an hour and a half, with stops. Didn’t see many birds while cycling—although I did ID a rock pigeon by its shadow—but there were a few at Beech Hill when Jack and I walked up. Tons of yellow-throats. A little flock of white-throated sparrows. And another three of four white-crowned sparrows.
Cooling off tonight, but we’re supposed to get a streak of lovely days.
