Always Rewarding

Saturday, October 6th, 2018
American Robin, Beech Hill Preserve, Rockport, Maine, 06 October 2018.

American Robin.

Couple of thrushes this crisp, cold, clear morning—robins and a Hermit Thrush. Also assorted sparrows, finches, warblers, woodpeckers. Quite a few migrants moving through.

Yellow-rumped Warbler, Beech Hill Preserve, Rockport, Maine, 06 October 2018.

Yellow-rumped Warbler.

For a hard-core birder, fall migration is a fun, surprising, always rewarding time of year.
