The sun came out today, and the water froze. Well most of the water—all but the patches that got to soak up the sun for a while. Saw a little flock of buntings at Beech Hill in afternoon. Also a pair of gulls. That was about it.

Lovely up there today, though.

Tomorrow we count birds.
