Today I was sure Jack and I would find no other vehicles parked in the Beech Hill lot when we arrived. A spattering rain, 40–50 m.p.h. winds (with higher gusts) tossing us every which way, just generally wet, angry weather. All I encountered, bird-wise, was a chickadee.
Returning, to my shock, we met another hiker coming up the trail.
